Why can’t I get the £50 smart meter sign-up bonus yet?

If you joined us between 8 September and 31 December 2019 you may have been offered a £50 sign-up bonus during your online sign-up journey, if you agreed to get Utility Warehouse smart meters installed.

The bonus is given as a credit on your bill, once the new meters have been installed.

If you couldn’t book a smart meter appointment right away

In some cases, we can’t install smart meters right away - and so you would have instead been asked to register your interest in getting a smart meter. Once you’ve registered your interest, at the point we’re able to install smart for you, we’ll get in contact to invite you to book an appointment. You’ll receive the £50 bonus straight after you book and the smart meters are installed - no matter when in the future.
