What should I do if I receive a phishing email to my Webmail?

Phishing is a type of online identity theft. It can use fraudulent emails that are designed to steal your personal information, such as credit card numbers passwords and account data.

A few tips to spot a phishing email is to look for:

  • Bad spelling and grammar
  • Threats ('failure to complete this form will result in your account being blocked')

If you receive any email you know to be fraudulent please mark this in your webmail as 'SPAM' this will notify us to take the neccessary action to protect you from this email.

If you have received an email from Utility Warehouse asking for sensitive information and you are not sure, do not take the risk. You can always contact us directly to confirm whether we have sent it or not.
