What's the difference between bits and bytes?

Kilobits (Kb) and Megabits (Mb) are used to measure data speeds (e.g. 3Kbs or 8Mbs).

Kilobytes (KB) and Megabytes (MB) are used to measure data storage (e.g. 3KB or 8MB).

Mbps is megabits per second, and MBps is megabytes per second - 8Mbps is equal to 1MBps.
