What should I do if my mobile phone isn't working whilst I'm abroad?

If you're experiencing problems using your phone abroad, here are a few things to try:

  • Hard reboot - this is when you remove your battery while the phone is still on.
    • Not all handsets (such as iPhones) have removable batteries.
    • If this is the case, try turning the phone off and on again.
  • Manual network selection - try searching for a network manually.

If you are on Budget Control, make sure you have enough credit on your phone.
