Why am I unable to receive a message from a particular email address?
If you're unable to receive emails from a particular email address, here are a few things to check:
- make sure the sender is entering your email address correctly.
- make sure your mailbox is not full. You may need to delete old emails from your inbox to allow for new e-mails to arrive.
- if you're sure the email address they are sending to is correct, ask them if they are receiving any 'bounce back' emails from the server, which may explain what the issue is.
- if they're sending emails to you as part of a group, ask them to try sending emails to you individually.
- ask them to try sending you an email from a different email address to isolate any problems with the email account. This will establish if the issue is with a particular email address.
