Why am I unable to receive a message from a particular email address?

If you're not receiving emails from an email address, here are a few things to check:

  • Make sure the sender is using your correct email address
  • Check if your mailbox is full – you might need to delete old emails from your inbox
  • If you're sure the email address they are sending to is correct, ask them if they are receiving any 'bounce back' emails from the server, which may explain what the issue is
  • If they're sending emails to you as part of a group, ask them to try sending emails to you individually
  • Ask them to try sending you an email from a different email address
